Super great and delicious food .. A really great shop, is definitely worth a visit! :-)
In India Haus you not only get served absolutely delicious food, you are also in good company. The owner and his staff are polite, friendly and courteous, and as soon as you enter the restaurant, there is something familiar and comfortable in the air. If you can, give it a try.
Best food
Our absolute highlight for Indian food in Göttingen!
-Aweso, Indian foods :)
The Food was delicious but I saw a waiter acting as he would spit in my food as a joke to his college, before bringing my food to the table. I really don’t think this is funny. I had less appetite after and don’t want to know what happens in the kitchen.
Good food, atleast you will feel it Indian ?
what people who want to spend a lot of money to not get fed up
I love papadam! ... and that was styled with mini green stuff and even smaller vegetable chips, of course, there were also three dips, great! We shared the starter plate for two enthusiastically. I don't really like beer, but the Alster with organic lamb brew was delicious! Great that the waiter also had a sense of humor !!!
The Indian food missed a lot of Indian taste tbh. It was rather bland and based on a lot of cream. Probably the spice palette is adjusted to please the German desires for bland and cream heavy food.
Typical Indian food. But cobwebs and dust without end.
It looks wonderful restron one should go there and enjoy the food.
Very tasty, price was ok
Honest people.
Very bad service and vermin running in the restaurant. Prices are too small for the prices. The boss operates the restaurant only as a hobby because this owner of the house has been to inheritance by purchase.
Delicious food and really fast service. But during a visit I had to wait more than an hour for my meal while my companion already had her food. Therefore 1 star deduction.
Cheaper, good Indian in a central location of Göttingen. lunch Menu is extensive. Toilets in the basement are clean but it smells very musty ... Therefore only 4 stars.
Great Indian food, lots of vegan food and very friendly staff.
Decent Indian restaurant. Good kitchen. Friendly and fast service. A cute wooden elephant at the entrance adds charm.
Very friendly staff. Liked the Masala Chai with Honey :)
Unbelievably good, delicious food! The vegetarian thali was just a dream! Dear, nice and friendly service. Nice decor and cozy atmosphere. Thick recommendation!
The food there is very nice and health too. Will visit again
Great Indian food. Beautiful ambience. Very professional and hospitable staff. Won't be disappointed on the dishes.
Very nice place. Good food and nice people
Was not that good ? ... The operation is not the fastest. We sometimes had to wait a long time to order and order drinks ???. Furthermore, we were there with children (8 + 10 ?), the only a salad wanted. The waiter also knew that the salad was intended for the little ones. The problem was that they could not eat it at all because it was too spicy ??? -> ???. We should have said that or had to point out that he knew that the salad was for the children. But probably it was, as so often in the restaurant, only a temporary worker ? that does not know the dishes offered there. A pity, because otherwise the shop looks quite comfortable ...
Nice place try some Indian food. The service is little slow but the taste is good.
Although no toilet for wheelchair users and relatively long wait for the food, but fresh and delicious. Staff very friendly and accommodating
It is very delicious. But it seemed that the vegetables were not crispy, so I took out a star and Bob continues.
Amazing food. Lovely people. I love the music and the atmosphere, it's just like my time in India. The food is very delicious and the service is very nice :)
A great Indian restaurant with an assortment of dishes on offer. We have frequented India Haus over the last 5 years. India Haus can easily accommodate a group of 10-15 people and is one of the few Indian restaurants serving Dosa’s.
The food was delicious, but the portions are rather small for the price. We had a very friendly waiter, but then another senior gentleman, who did not say a word, came to the checkout and when asked if we could pay separately, peppered his block and pen and left without a word. He also collected the money and tips without a single word. I have never experienced anything like this and even if the food was delicious, that is a reason to never go there again.
They don't speak German, they don't speak English. One would think that they don't speak at all. You have to make it quite obvious in an empty restaurant that you want to order. However that doesn't mean that they then serve you fast.
Food was good in taste. The lamb with a meal from two was unfortunately not so tender, the other was nice tender. For 3 stars. But the price performance ratio for 10 small pieces of meat with side dishes 17.80 euros and again for a small bowl (about 9 pieces) meat 17.50 euros rather for high gastronomy. But to offer soft drinks in bottles.
Decent food but only go if you have a lot of time. Service is verrry slow.
The food was good, the service and the service were unfortunately underground. The food was served after 1.5 hours and unfortunately 10 minutes delayed (for 3 people). A ordered drink never arrived and the payment we were 20 minutes wait. We had to make us pay several times before it worked (20 min). Not so fast again .... But it was still delicious
Good Asian food
A lot of vegan options ? mango with curry sauce and curry with soy cheese and veggie with soy cheese and vegetable curry sauce both come with delicious ? rice and naan. Soy cheese is like tofu. It's not a curry that you can eat every day like the curry in Kumamoto's Indian restaurant, but it's a little different from the curry I've eaten so far, but it's really delicious, so I definitely want curry fans and non-curry fans to try it ?!
Ok
A bit expensive but worthy. Lunch is more günstig.
We just visited today. Under no condition order Chicken Biriani or any Biriani. It was awful. Keep yourself to Dal and vegetable and Panajbi foods. These guys do not know how to cook NonVeg.
Very nice and tasty food. Best Service. Recommended.
The food was really good but the price and personal have some issues.
Tasty menus.
Good food and mood
I am very disappointed. The food tastes like the frozen ones in the supermarket. At the same time it's too expensive for this quality. One tikka masala costs around 15€ and there is only five pieces of meat with a lot of sauce. I definitely would not eat here anymore. I also do not recommend you to go there. With the same price you can get better or more food at the other Indian restaurants.
great food, efficient customer service. needs WiFi though.
Normal Indian food one can get in Europe, with very long menu, what is rarely a good sign. Tries to have an upscale atmosphere.
Too bad
Good Indian food, with several levels of spiciness, a rare thing in Göttingen. Most of the dishes are also available as take-away.
Excellent food! Long time since I ate something Indian, and this was an enjoyment for my taste buds. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or meat, you get a rich menu to choose from. Service not perfect, but they did their job as it should be done. I highly recommend this restaurant.
